Angelina will explain the cultural significance of the Cycladic gastronomy and how the few things that grow on this cluster of the Aegean islands, the Cyclades, are all the rave now with their abundance of organic, mostly vegetarian dishes. Next, join Angelina in her small home kitchen for your Mykonos cooking class. Learn to cook a traditional Greek meal and a few local specialties. During your hands-on Greek cooking lesson Angelina will teach you how to prepare tomatoes needed for your chicken with orzo as well as the shrimps saganaki and then you will assemble delicious feta parcels, cheese wrapped in filo that will bake in the oven. These delicious parcels are served with a drizzle of Greek thyme honey. Share the meal you helped prepare with Angelina and conclude your meal with an easy to make baklava with or without chocolate. "One of the best cooking experiences! Angie met us at our designated spot. Then she explained some of the Greek culture to us, showed us where the Mykonians get their produce and fish, and walked us to her home where we had an array of appetizers waiting for us. Traditional sausage, white beans, olives and Greek leaves, of course we toasted with a glass of Ouzo. Then the cooking starts… Tzatziki, Chicken with orzo, Shrimp Saganaki, feta wrapped in phyllo, Greek salad and the Baklava. The food was outstanding. Our group of 4 had a blast learning and asking questions. Angie was an exceptional hostess. I highly recommend this tour to everyone!"

"We did a cooking class with Angelina at her home in Mykonos. She was wonderful! She immediately made us feel welcomed as we met her and took a short stroll through the village to her house. She walked us through each step of the recipes for the foods we prepared, and joined us for conversation about her cooking experiences and the culture in Mykonos as we ate the dishes we had cooked. It was a great experience that I would highly recommend to anyone that wants to experience a taste of Mykonos!"
