Start times: 7:00pm
Upon arriving at the Haveli you will be greeted by either Yadu or his cousin, in the general courtyard that is surrounded by pomegranate trees. Make your way to a private courtyard where you will get to you know your host over drinks and snacks. Nothing pleases Yadu more than discovering and testing new recipes and he is sure to tell you about the old hand-written manuscript he found amongst forgotten family keepsakes, which contained 400 lost recipes.

You will then enjoy a cooking experience with Yadu (or perhaps his cousin) and a chef in their courtyard that has an open fire grill. In your Jaipur cooking class learn to cook two traditional Rajasthani dishes which will take about 1.5 hours. After cooking, enjoy a menu of traditional Indian dishes such as kebabs, a variety of Indian breads, ker sangri (a traditional Rajasthani desert bean dish), lahsuni palak (spinach cooked in garlic), junglee maas (a meat dish traditionally made from the game that kings hunted that is spiced with chili and coriander) or safed maas (a decadent royal korma made with ground cashew and almonds, coconut, and fragrant spices and goat), and mutton dahi bhalla (meat-filled lentil dumplings in a yogurt sauce). Learn about the history of Rajasthani cuisine and how they cook traditional dishes during this unique culinary experience with a member of the royal family. Enjoy your authentic Rajasthani meal over a glass of wine.
Notes
Please note that Yadu has converted the family palace into a heritage hotel so you may pass a few guests who stay at the hotel as you make your way to meet him.
