Please note this is a wine and cheese tasting, not a lunch or dinner. During your private wine tasting and cheese pairing in the heart of Chamonix, learn about the history of Savoy wines and how to appreciate them. Savoy is the only alpine wine region in France! It is known for grape varieties rarely grown elsewhere, including Jacquère, Roussanne, and Gringet for white wines, and Mondeuse for reds. During this wine tasting that takes place in a wine shop in the heart of Chamonix, your host Charline introduces you to a selection of five Savoy wines paired with fabulous Savoy cheeses such as Tomme, Beaufort and Reblochon. During this 2-hour Chamonix wine tasting experience, you will engage your palate and senses and discover and appreciate new flavors and tastes.

With experience in New Zealand, Australia, Cognac, the Bordeaux region and the Loire Valley, she is as sensitive to the old world of wine as she is to the new. Charline introduces you to the world of wine tasting and cheese pairing in a fun and friendly atmosphere in a wine shop in the heart of Chamonix. On days that Charline is not available, an equally experienced wine enthusiast will host your experience.
