Min 1, max 5 guests
Start times: 12:30pm, 7:30pm
Geeta lives with her husband in a bungalow in Kamla Nagar. Her home is very simple but tastefully decorated by her sons who are designers. They have also designed a menu for their mother when she completed 25 years of conducting cooking classes; to showcase all her food pictures and the different cuisines she prepares. Your meal will be Rajasthani which is cooked in ghee (clarified butter) and may include dishes such as mangochi (a family recipe of lentil dumplings in mildly spiced tomato and yogurt sauce), dahi vada (split black gram beans in a yogurt sauce) served with sweet tamarind chutney, gatte ki sabzi with missi roti (gram flour dumplings in a yogurt-based curry served with flatbread), her grandmother's pickles, chutney and salad.
Notes
Geeta serves only vegetarian food.

If you would like to try a different regional cuisine, Geeta can also prepare and teach south Indian, north Indian, Mughlai and Kashmiri food, so please tell her your preference at the time of booking.

More about Geeta

Geeta has been conducting cooking classes for 28 years. Originally a teacher, she discovered her passion for cooking after marrying and moving to Agra. She started teaching cooking as a way to share this with other women who hoped to perfect their skills. She learned most of her techniques by watching her mother as a young girl and then turned to cookbooks and to experimenting in the kitchen. Both of her sons are passionate about food and support their mother in every way possible. As children, they would watch cooking shows, writing down exciting recipes and petering their mother to cook for them. This made Geeta an very innovative cook and taught her to explore with different flavors. Geeta is such a passionate cook that she often dreams of new dishes while sleeping and then wakes up in the middle of the night to make a note of the recipes!
