Join Shamim in her home for an authentic in-home dining experience in Cochin. After your welcome drink of garden-fresh lime juice or refreshing coconut water, you will be served an array of dishes in the traditional Kerala Muslim cuisine that may include chattipathiri (a traditional Malayali Muslim dish of layered seasoned beef and pancakes), pathiri (round paper-thin, rice flour bread), ney chor (a fragrant rice lightly coated in ghee), sharkapuli (an addictively delicious mango and tamarind accompaniment to the rice), Malabar chicken curry made with Kerala spices and coconut milk, and to end, semiya payasam, cardamom-infused milk with vermicelli, raisins and cashews.
