We had a great time visiting Ashkay’s house and cooking with his wife and mum. The food was delicious and we will certainly be trying our new skills out at home now. It was great to join Ashkay and family to eat what we’d cooked and learn some more about Indian culture and life.
Richard and I had a lovely experience with Raj and his family. We were warmly welcomed and in a matter of minutes we felt right at home; with all the hustle and bustle of the kitchen and the mouth watering smells. It was fun to see all the food being cooked and Richard was active part in the cooking process. It was a wonderful surprise for my boyfriend and he had a wonderful time. I am glad I chose Traveling Spoon to introduce him to the rich culinary repertoire of Udaipur. We couldn't have gotten better hosts than Raj and Geeta. They were the perfect hosts answering all questions about Indian history and the food ofcourse. I feel like a part of their traveling spoon story and I am looking forward to cooking up more food memories with Travelling Spoon!
Raghav and his wife welcomed us with open arms and hearts. We had a long, interesting conversation on food, history, culture while we shared snacks and a very unique welcome drink. Then we were introduced to the family chef, with whom we had a very informative cooking demo, followed by dinner. We were served some truly authentic regional dishes made with local produce, which was outstanding! Raghav is very warm, hospitable and knowledgeable; we felt right at home and were so comfortable throughout the experience. We highly recommend this unique experience to everyone visiting Udaipur!
